The king of ragtime, Scott Joplin's music has been available on the piano for the best part of a century, yet there are very few arrangements for wind ensembles. Equally, much of his ragtime music that has been transcribed for other instruments has often been "mangled" in an attempt to make it easier to play. The result is generally unsatisfactory.

We consider that his Scott Joplins ragtime music deserves much better treatment.

We have started a project to make ALL of his rags and other works available to wind and string players, both in solo form and ensemble - except Tremonisha, his opera. (That's a bit beyond us at present.)
